Insulet has initiated a voluntary Medical Device Correction for certain Omnipod® 5 Pods distributed in the United States. The company identified that Pods from specific lot numbers may contain a small tear in the internal tubing responsible for delivering insulin.

The Pods included in this correction represent approximately 1.5% of the annual global Omnipod 5 Pod production. 

ONLY 5-pack Pods with lot number PH1U on the box need to be checked and NOT all lots that start with PH1U are impacted.
